Shira Gregory is an Israeli-American actor and visual artist. Acting works include: Broadway - FROST/ NIXON (Evonne Goolagong); Off-Broadway - THE MORNING AFTER/THE NIGHT BEFORE (Bridget); Off-off Broadway - A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (Hermia); Film - IFC's "Breaking Upwards" (Poly-amorist); "Birchwood" (Dr. H). Shira studied at Caymichael Patten Studio with Ms. Patten, and through the summer intensive courses at the Yale School of Drama. She is a founding member of The Hive Theatre, with whom she is currently developing several projects. Shira's visual art is largely, although not strictly, based in realism. Favorite artists include Egon Schiele, Auguste Rodin, Gustav Klimt, Michelangelo and the drawings of Pablo Picasso, among many more. Shira is an incurable animal lover, enjoys crass humor, good wine and adventures. |
